Your doctor is not going to have enough time for a complete orientation to answer every question you have. A recent article from UCSF medical center confirms how important the microbiome in our guts and on our skin is in keeping us healthy.

In the article titled Microbiome Medicine: Scientists Harness the Body’s ‘Bugs’ to Treat Asthma, MS and More, researchers at UCSF foresee that specific microbe, or groups of them, could be administered to patients as medication.
